Thanks to Madusa and her fighting with Miss Madness, Macho Man decided to downsize Team Madness. He fired Madusa. (Thank God!) About a week later, for no reason at all, he fired Mona from Team Madness, thus stripping her from her Miss Madness '99 title. Although she came out and pleaded with Macho Man to get her job back, he humilated her in the ring and still refused to let her be Miss Madness '99 again. All because Madusa wanting to fight Mona, and causing Savage to lose the title to Hogan on Nitro.
